Roxbury Village School Registration is Open
The Roxbury Village School is now accepting applications for new pre-school students who live in Roxbury who will be ages 3&4 by September 1, 2023. After April 15th, it will be open to residents outside of Roxbury.

Caretakers of eligible Roxbury kindergarten children, who plan to have their child attend kindergarten this fall (5 years old by 9-1-2023) and are not enrolled at RVS this school year, are asked to contact the school for a registration packet.

Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools Partners in Education (MRPS-PIE) Seeks Board Members
MRPS PIE connects school administration and Montpelier businesses to the broader community of students and their families.

There are a few board members ending their terms in 2023 and are seeking people who like to connect people with resources and are committed to public education in our community to join the board.

The Board meets just 5 times per year (in person and/or Zoom) and hosts two annual fundraisers — the Montpelier Fall Festival and the Winter Family Support Fund. Candidate needn’t be a current parent or family member of an MRPS student to join.

About the School

The Roxbury Village School serves local children from pre-kindergarten through 6th Grade. Children in the upper grades attend other schools, including Montpelier Public School.

The Roxbury Village School is part of the combined Montpelier-Roxbury School District.  Public school information for residents of Roxbury and Montpelier can be found here: Montpelier Roxbury Schools Website

The School is also a fully-supplied Red Cross Shelter. Tina Young is the coordinator. If you wish to volunteer at the shelter in the event of an emergency, call her at the School. Volunteers would be asked to stay at the shelter.

Roxbury Village School Has an Amazon Wish List!

Items can be shipped directly to the school. When you select something from the list, it will remove the item or reduce the number indicated on the list. You don’t have to purchase the items from Amazon, you can mark the item as “buying this gift elsewhere” and have the gift delivered or dropped off at school in care of Roxbury Caregiver Group.
